Message from the Principal

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

It is with great joy and dedication that I welcome you to St Thomas The Apostle Primary School, where we strive to nurture academic excellence through encouraging students to follow St Thomas' charism of curiosity and faith. At St Thomas the Apostle, we are committed to embodying the principles of Catholic Social Teaching in all facets of our educational journey. By instilling a strong foundation of skills and knowledge, we aim to prepare our students for lives that are fulfilling and purpose-driven.

Curiosity is the spark that ignites learning and innovation. It encourages exploration, critical thinking, and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. Through our robust academic programs and supportive environment, we seek to cultivate this curiosity in each of our students, empowering them to ask questions, seek answers, and discover their passions.

Faith forms the heart of our community. It guides our actions, inspires compassion, and fosters a sense of belonging and responsibility towards others. Rooted in the values of Catholic Social Teaching, we teach our students to uphold principles of justice, dignity, and solidarity, preparing them to make positive contributions to their communities and the world.

Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom. We are dedicated to nurturing each student's understanding of emotional intelligence and how they can uphold their own and other's wellbeing.

With warmest regards,

Mrs Kate Dourley Principal
