Confirmation Workshops
The Parent/Child workshops have been completed, with our families coming along on Tuesday and Wednesday night this week.
Many thanks to Sister Julie and the Jericho Community teacher team for soldiering on without Father Denis. There was very good participation amongst both groups and lots of learning. The gifts of the Holy Spirit were certainly evident in the workshops!

Jericho Mass cancelled
Unfortunately, Father Denis has been unwell recently and could not celebrate Mass with the Jericho Community this week. We’re hoping we can catch up with Mass sometime soon. We have Father Denis in our prayers and hope he has a speedy recovery.
Message - Yr 6 Sustainability team
Let’s keep our children safe
Getting children to school safely is everyone’s job. Here are a few reminders to help us keep our children safe every day.
School Zone: The speed limit on Fiorelli Blvd outside our school and on Mackillop Way is 40km every day. Let’s make sure we slow down and keep our children safe.
Stop, Look, Listen & Think: be a great role model for your child and take extra care to look out for cars when crossing the road or walking through the carpark.
Slow down and be alert: Children can be unpredictable. Remain careful, especially at the busy morning and afternoon school times – in the school carpark and on the roads as you head home.
Follow signs, road rules and parking signs: They are there to keep our children safe.
Park and walk: Park a little further away from the school to avoid the congestion. Selandra Reserve is an option - with many car parks available, it’s a legal and safe option, and less than 10 minutes walk.
School Photos
Dear Parents,
School Photos were sent home with your child today. If you have not recieved your photo pack, it might be due to the fact that a late order was placed .

Lost Property Box
The lost property box is currently overflowing with unclaimed items.
If your child is missing an item of uniform, water bottle or lunch box, please ensure they check the lost property box located outside the office.
NB: All unclaimed uniform at the end of the term will be donated to the Second Hand Uniform Stall.
Casey Safety Village transformed into new open space
The decommissioned area of the Casey Safety Village in Cranbourne East has been transformed into a welcoming and accessible open space for the whole community to enjoy.
Works undertaken at the site include the lowering of the existing fence, landscape works including new grassing and concrete surfaces and the planting of trees and shrubs, and the installation of new seating.
The existing miniature road circuit has been retained, so kids can explore the park on their bikes and scooters and follow the line markings. There are also barbecue facilities and plenty of parking nearby.
The new open space at Casey Safety Village is located on the corner of Main Street and Race Drive in Cranbourne East. This project was made possible with the assistance of the Victorian Government through its Park Revitalisation Program.
