Dear Parents
We are nearly there! Are you feeling like the little train that could? "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..." Hopefully after this Sunday we will have a better idea about what is to come for Term 4. Working together to get back to a covid normal is so important.
Thank you for your efforts with supporting your children with their remote learning. Your time, patience, commitment and love will be repaid many times over.
Sometimes we get little insights into the work that other people do. Yesterday I was very fortunate and I was asked and able to help my neighbour out. He is a dairy farmer. I met this very cute calf who is two weeks old. Her mum is now producing 50 litres a milk a week, some of it feeds this calf and the rest feeds us.
May our blessings grow with the new season. Welcome Spring!
St Thomas the Apostle Primary School has registered to take part in National eSmart Week. eSmart is an initiative of the Alannah & Madeline Foundation and is all about building supportive and connected social environments both on and offline.
This is our chance to shine and show all the wonderful work we have done as a school community this year. At the start of this year, who would have thought that our school would be in remote learning, and spending more time online than ever before? Our school community has done an amazing job at adapting throughout this year.
This year’s National eSmart Week theme is Connecting Safely. The week from 6-12 September celebrates the work schools have done to connect safely.
Throughout eSmartWeek, we will get the students involved in some fun activities around connecting safely online.
In the meantime, we’d like to thank you for all that you have done to ensure that our school has kept Connecting Safely in 2020!
Attached is also a poster around eSmart Week.
Thank you.
